There is supposed to be a picture of a young curly headed blond child with the name of Elmo on the back in this same group of pictures..

The back of the picture has R.E.Wilson.
I will find out the type of picture.

Still too many possibilities to narrow it down any, and we don't even know he was ever in Indiana, right?  He looks much older than Susie would have been in the 1880s.  Is there a possibility that this is Elmo, and maybe he went by his middle name?  What type of photo is it, tintype, CDV, Cabinet Card, snapshot?

WWI ended November 11, 1918. Elmo registered for the draft Sept. 12, 1918. His age is listed as 34 with his birthdate as Sept. 7, 1884. Here is the the story as I heard it. Elmo disappeared after he was caught being awol from army. Looks like he never was in the army. He signed up Sept 12, 1918, the war was over Nov. 11, 1918. May be that he disappeared to avoid the draft. Has anyone found out who Leona V . Wilson is yet?
